Benefits of the Great Outdoors

A recent study carried out by the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry, in collaboration with the European Centre for the Environment and Human Health (ECEHH), found that outdoor exercising results in an improved mental state of well-being; compared with exercising indoors, exercising in natural environments leads to greater feelings of revitalisation, higher energy levels and a more positive sense of engagement, whilst reducing symptoms such as tension, anger, poor concentration & depression. It also statistically proved that people exercising outdoors are more likely to continue with training!
